Phal. Samera is an outstanding collector's hybrid created from the exceptional cross of Phalaenopsis Bellina Glory × Phalaenopsis Violacea Sixteen Pink. Combining the best characteristics of both parents, this rare orchid produces beautifully shaped star-like blooms in luminous lime green with vibrant violet-purple centres, accompanied by an intense sweet citrus-floral fragrance.

Supplied as a young orchid with active flower spikes (not currently in bloom), this is an excellent opportunity to grow one of the most desirable fragrant Phalaenopsis hybrids from an early stage and enjoy its spectacular flowers as they develop.

Phal. Samara is a specialist collector's hybrid produced in limited numbers and is rarely available through standard retailers. The Bellina Glory parent contributes vigorous growth and a powerful citrus fragrance, while Violacea Sixteen Pink adds intense colouring, flower substance and repeat-flowering ability, creating a truly outstanding hybrid.

This is a live young plant supplied with active flower spikes but not currently in bloom. Images are provided as a guide to the mature flowers. Flower colour, fragrance intensity, spike length and overall appearance may vary naturally between individual plants, making every orchid unique.

Care Instructions

Phal. Samara thrives in warm, humid conditions similar to its Bellina and Violacea parents. Place in bright filtered light, water thoroughly before allowing the bark to become almost dry, maintain moderate to high humidity with good air circulation, and feed every 2–3 weeks during active growth using a balanced orchid fertiliser. With proper care, this hybrid can flower several times a year, rewarding you with beautifully scented blooms.
