Why You'll Love It

'Chow Chow' is a highly desirable selected form of Phalaenopsis schilleriana, loved for its striking mottled foliage that remains ornamental throughout the year. Even without flowers, the beautifully patterned leaves make this orchid a stunning display plant.

Once mature, it produces elegant branching flower spikes carrying numerous delicately fragrant pink blooms. Well-grown specimens can develop spectacular cascading displays with dozens of flowers, creating one of the most impressive flowering performances of any Phalaenopsis species.

This is a bloom-size plant, meaning it has reached flowering maturity and is ready to bloom under the right growing conditions.

Care Tips

Provide bright, filtered light with good air circulation and maintain warm temperatures throughout the year. Water thoroughly once the roots become silver, allowing excellent drainage between waterings. Higher humidity (60–80%) will encourage vigorous growth. Feed regularly with a balanced orchid fertiliser during active growth and avoid cutting healthy green flower spikes, as mature plants may rebloom from existing spikes.

Packaging & Delivery

Your orchid will be professionally packed using specialist orchid packaging to ensure it arrives safely. Heat packs are included during colder months whenever required to protect your plant during transit.
